Had a great dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant died down a bit after 9, which was nice.
Highlights were the escargot (pro tip: dip your fries in the leftover garlic butter sauce), beef tartare, and Cajun chicken. The endive salad was crisp and nicely dressed, the lentil salad was heartier between the two. The tagliatelle pasta is tasty with a nice portion, but after the many “fries as sides”, maybe another protein main would’ve been better. Dessert options are great, the chocolate mousse is quite rich, the creme brûlée was delicious, and the floating meringue on creme anglaise was a tasty lighter option.
The vibe of the restaurant is white tablecloth with wine bucket next to the table, but some pop/modern artwork and music … wouldn’t be my choice, but the food and service were great.
Everything was prepared well with fresh ingredients. Service was great. I would like this restaurant more if it was located elsewhere. Not worth dealing with Buckhead traffic and parking, if you are making a trip just for to eat here.
Food was tasty. Would highly recommend the Wagyu Beef Tartare and the Mussels. The foie gras made in house was too salty for my taste. The Apple Tart was delicious. I would have given 5 stars but was disappointed with lack of side options. The French fries are good but are served with practically every meal. It was a bit over kill by the end of the night.
One of the best restaurants in ATL. Best escargot I’ve ever had and the risotto rivals what you would get in Paris. Service is warm and inviting. The atmosphere is a beautiful blend of classic and modern. Definitely worth checking out.
My girlfriends and I had reservations for brunch, on a Sunday at 11:45am. The weather was great and we were seated outside on the patio at a large table. We ordered a few various appetizers, which included the assorted meat and cheese board, the foie gras, and an assortment of fresh croissants. Everything was so good! The pastries were out of this world. I ordered the beet salad (it had a much more complex name), and it was amazing. Full of flavor and beautiful colors. I also ordered an omelette with carmelized onions and mushrooms, and it came with fries and a small leafy salad. We all enjoyed our food. The location is great, because when we were done, we just walked around and shooed a little. I chose to valet ($15), but you can also park yourself for $5. Good service and nice atmosphere. Did a lot of people-watching too.
In an upscale location, surrounded by stores like Hermes, Akris, etc. Everything is well kept. They have plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to provide lots of shade. The servers are dress sophisticated with nice trousers, button up top, and a tie. The menu is priced in line with its location. I ordered the tagliatelle as my main meal and the burrata with prosciutto as an appetizer. The burrata tasted a little too thick and creamy for me, I was hoping for a lighter taste. The tagliatelle was pretty good. I wouldn’t order either again though, I’ll try for something else next time.
This is an absolute repeat favorite of ours -- we live a good hour and 15 minutes away in Athens but make regular trips to Buckhead just for lunch. Le Bilboquet is everything you'd expect from a top Parisian brassiere: simple menu, amazingly consistent food and flavors, culinary expertise on display, and an upscale, local neighborhood vibe. Manhattan should be so lucky. The only downside is -- like most American restaurants -- the ubiquitous music, especially on weekends. Recommendation: get the salmon or steak au poivre!
I had an amazing dining experience at Le Bilboquet in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. The tuna tartare was exceptional, and I highly recommend trying their fries. The ambiance at Le Bilboquet is reminiscent of a charming square in Paris with classic French cooking that brings a slice of Parisian café culture to the neighborhood. The interior is beautifully designed with quintessential Parisian elements, and the rotating collection of art adds to the charm. Le Bilboquet has a rich history, originally starting in New York City and now offering its approachable classic dishes in Atlanta. It’s a delightful spot for a delicious meal and a relaxed, Parisian-inspired atmosphere.
